The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit at LRPS provides students with the opportunity to develop qualities of leadership, discipline, secularism and selfless service. Cadets undergo regular drill and parade training, participate in camps, and take part in community service activities, instilling values that shape them into responsible citizens of the nation.

Being situated in the strategically important region of Ladakh, our NCC cadets carry a special sense of pride and responsibility, often interacting with the Indian Armed Forces stationed nearby and participating in border-area camps and events.

Weekly foot drill, marching and discipline training

Camps focused on field craft, map reading & adventure

Weapon Training

Basic familiarisation with weapon handling & firing ranges

Social Service Camps

Cleanliness drives, blood donation & community outreach

Open to interested students from Class IX onward
Trained by certified NCC officers and instructors
Opportunities to attend Republic Day Camp (RDC) selections
Develops leadership, teamwork and crisis-response skills
